Ringo Grants & Charities (ringogrants.com) is operated by Ringo Technologies (owned by Robert Hanson), Commerce City, Colorado ("we", "us").
We set up and support an AI receptionist ("Ringo") and grant tools for nonprofits and charities. Ringo answers calls, answers questions you approve, books appointments into your own calendar and transfers urgent calls. On plans that include them, Ringo also searches for grants and foundations, checks eligibility, drafts applications from the facts you enter and reminds you of deadlines and funder reports. Features depend on your plan.
Ringo Grants & Charities is not designed to collect or handle health information protected by HIPAA, and we do not sign business associate agreements. Do not enter client, patient or donor health details into the service.
Grant matches, eligibility checks, budgets and drafts are written by AI from the information you give and from public sources such as Grants.gov and IRS filings. They can be incomplete or wrong. Your organization reviews every draft, checks each funder's rules and submits from its own funder accounts. We do not guarantee that you will be eligible for, or win, any grant. We charge a flat monthly fee and never take a percentage of grants you receive.
The service is set up so it does not keep caller names, phone numbers, call summaries, transcripts or recordings. Appointments are written to your own calendar. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we keep.
Ringo does not give legal, tax, financial, accounting, medical or other professional advice, and is instructed not to. You are responsible for the answers you approve for Ringo to give.
Ringo introduces itself to callers as an AI assistant. You agree not to present Ringo as a human. You are responsible for any other notice your state or profession requires.
Plans are billed monthly through Stripe, plus a one-time setup fee. Plans are month to month and can be cancelled anytime with no cancellation fee. Minutes beyond your plan are $0.20 each and appear on your next invoice. Spam, robocalls and calls under 20 seconds are never counted.
You own the calendar, phone and other accounts you connect, and you can disconnect them at any time. You agree to give accurate information about your organization, use the service lawfully and follow each funder's rules.
Ringo transfers calls that match the urgent rules you set to the number you give us. Ringo is not an emergency service, and we do not guarantee that every urgent call will be recognized or transferred.
AI can make mistakes. We set up and tune the service carefully, but we do not guarantee that every call, booking or answer will be handled perfectly, or that the service will produce particular results. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before a claim.
When you cancel, Ringo stops answering, we remove our access to your accounts, and your account data is deleted 30 days later. You can download your data before then.
